This is it! This is your chance to “Go into all the world…” And you can go with the knowledge that you are following in the same footsteps taken by tens of thousands of AIMers dating all the way back to 1966.
Through AIM, there are many opportunities for you to get involved in extraordinary ministries all around the world. Your AIM trip can be either stateside or international and can be initiated and led by the local church, district, national office, and/or an approved third-party ministry.
AIM Requirements There are 5 requirements for student missions teams to use the term “AIM.”
You must receive an invitation in writing from the Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM) missionary you will work with for international trips or the district and/or home missionary for domestic trips.
You must notify your District Youth Director (DYD) of your trip plans in writing.
You must complete the AIM Outreach Form (Stateside or Foreign). Fax or mail the form and invitation to the national AIM office at least 60 days prior to your trip.
You must obtain short-term trip insurance from Brotherhood Mutual (800.876.4994) for overseas trips. For stateside trips, contact Special Markets Insurance Consultants (800.818.7642, ext. 3). Be sure to ask for “AIM Travel Insurance.”
You must complete the AIM Outreach Report/Total Missions Giving Credit Form and return it to the national AIM office no later than 30 days after the completion of your trip.
