Ambassadors In Missions
Detroit2010 AIM Outreach!
We are excited to invite you to take part in this year's National AIM outreach in Detroit, Michigan. In partnership with the Michigan District of the Assemblies of God and 6 local churches serving as host sites, we will endeavor to shine the Light of Christ in Detroit! You, and hundreds of other students, will have the opportunity to be involved with Kids VBS, grocery distribution with Convoy of Hope, sidewalk Sunday Schools, dramas, "3 on 3" tournaments, community acts of service, and much more. In addition, the goal is to plant two brand new churches. Not only will you be a part of a massive evangelistic effort, presenting the gospel to the lost; you will find yourself growing spiritually as you give, and as you serve. Join us this August in the Motor City!
From the National AIM Liaison

Jim Wellborn
Hi Students, Leader, Pastors and Parents! It is my honor to serve AIM as a career missionary from Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM) on assignment to National Youth Ministries. My role is to help coordinate and facilitate your AIM trips as the AGWM AIM Liaison. Missions has taken me to over 60 countries and allowed me to participate in many foreign and stateside AIM trips.
All AIM trips are a coordinated effort between students, leaders, missionaries, and host churches. Thousands of students participate in these trips each year... and with Assemblies of God missions in over 250 countries, the opportunities for ministry are endless. Our goal is to see every student be able to go on an AIM trip before they graduate high school. To this end, we are continuing to develop a core AIM Affiliate network which will include other short-term missions ministries that have a like-minded mission. We are also continuing to develop relevant resources and opportunities for all local churches and districts to utilize. Please feel free to contact me anytime at jwellborn@ag.org.
